Anyone who thinks that the CIA or the U.S. Army are masters of nonviolence is either living on another planet or so besotted with his own conspiracy theories that he needs to get some fresh air and sunshine. The Engdahl article above is full of so many fabrications that it's hard to know where to begin. Just one example: Robert Helvey, formerly of the Einstein Institution, has categorically denied Engdahl's charges, saying he has never trained Chinese students or anyone else from China, much less the students involved in Tiananmen Square, has never trained or advised anyone from the Falun Gong, and has never advised anyone inside Tibet. He adds that the only thing he ever did that was funded by a Soros organization was a course on nonviolent struggle he did for Burmese in Norway in 1995, and that he has never met George Soros in his life. Engdahl either made all this up or perhaps channeled it from other purveyors of disinformation about nonviolent struggle like Stephen Gowans and Michael Barker.

Look back on the wars launched by the USA: Korea war, Vietnam war and Iraq war, all ended with Americans as a big loser. It is just as the saying goes that 'Man proposes and God disposes.' God has blessed and will always bless the honest and innocent nations.
